Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel hand in glove to destabilize region: Iran

Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Israel hand in glove to destabilize region: Iran
February 22, The Iran Project An Iranian lawmaker has slammed Saudi Arabia and Turkey's improper and unrealistic policies that destabilize the region, saying they share the same stance as that of Israel.

Deputy Chairman of Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Kamal Dehghani Firouzabadi made the remarks in reaction to the recent anti-Iran claims of Saudi Arabia and Turkey's foreign ministers at the 53rd Munich Security Conference (MSC) that accused Iran as the main sponsor of global terror.

In a speech on Sunday during the Munich Security Conference, Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu claimed that Iran was undermining regional stability through pursuing what he called a sectarian policy.

Also, similar charges was hurled at Tehran by Adel al-Jubeir who accused Iran of supporting terrorism in the world.

Saudi and Turkish foreign Ministers made these unconstructive anti-Iran claims while it is clear to everyone that destabilizing the region and undermining its security have recently been on the agenda of Turkey and some Arab countries, the Iranian parliamentarian noted.

Calling Riyadh and Ankara the main sponsors of terrorism, Firouzabadi said the two countries' full support of terrorists has made their non-humanitarian positions obvious.

He went on to say that the strategy of states sponsor terrorism in the region seriously failed so they are trying to destruct Iran to compensate their repetitive failures.

Finally, he referred to the parallelism between Saudi-Turkey anti-Iran stance and Israel's policies, saying they are trying ineffectively since no one can ignore Riyadh and Ankara's backing of terrorism and killing of innocent people in the region.
