TASS- The European Union�s market is important, but very complicated, according to Russia�s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov

Russia�s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov considers it necessary for Russia to target exports beyond European Union (EU) and focus on Iran, Vietnam and China.

"We should first of all focus on friendly markets, which are currently China, Vietnam and Iran. It is necessary to do everything for those laboratories [on certification of Russian products for exports - TASS]�to proceed, everything to promote those products. The European Union�s market is as important, it is a huge market and very important to us, but very complicated," he said.

According to Shuvalov, the cooperation with OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries via all work groups and committees is the highest priority for Russia, despite the fact that Moscow is not negotiating its entry to the organization.

Also, it is necessary to implement certain OECD approaches to certification and standardization, as well as certain regulatory elements in the area in the Russian legislation, he added.
