IRNA � Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Bahram Qasemi says the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Sabah carries a message from Emir of that country Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for President Hassan Rouhani.


Qasemi made the remarks while briefing IRNA on the upcoming trip of the Kuwaiti foreign minister to Tehran to take place on Wednesday.

Speaking about the aim of the trip, Qasemi said Iran and Kuwait as two neighboring countries enjoy many commonalities, adding they have been in contac for many years.

He further said today's visit of the Kuwaiti foreign minister happens within the framework of the bilateral relations.

The two will also hold talks on the latest international and regional developments, the diplomat added.
