IRNA - The number of people wounded at the Plasco Trade Center collapse on Thursday inferno has risen to 194, the director of public relations office of Tehran Emergency Center said on Monday.
Hassan Abassi told IRNA on Sunday evening that some 44 injured have been sent to hospital by Emergency technicians. He added that only three firefighters are still hospitalized.
'Rubble removal operation is underway and the bodies of two firefighters were identified so far,' he said.
Plasco Trade Center, the 17-storey building collapsed in downtown on January 19 while a number of firefighters were inside the building to rescue those trapped in the huge fire.
Plasco was the first high rise building in the Iranian capital and the symbol of Tehran's modernization in 1962.
