IRNA � Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Bahram Qasemi, on Monday strongly condemned recent terrorist blasts in Kandahar, Afghanistan, which killed or wounded a number of the UAE diplomats and Afghan officials and citizens.


According to a report by Foreign Ministry Media Department, Qasemi voiced sympathy with governments of Afghanistan and the UAE as well as the bereaved families of the victims.

He said terrorism is the most important security problem in the region and the world, targeting peace and security of countries and nations without any discrimination.

He added that campaign against terrorism needs collective efforts and all-out endeavors of all the regional states and the world community.
