IRNA - The Iranian parliament approved an 8 percent growth rate for the country during the 6th Five-Year Economic Development Plan (2015-2020), it was reported on Monday.
Out of 228 lawmakers present during the Monday morning session of the Majlis, the bill won a yes from 173 legislators, while 10 voted against it and six abstained.
The 6th Five-Year Economic Development Plan's policies are based on three axes of resistance economy, pioneering in science and technology, and cultural enhancement and reinforcement.
The general policies are devised with respect to the existing realities both on the domestic and international scenes.
