IRNA Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has talked of Japan's role in implementation of some of the regulations and articles of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) describing the role as 'constructive'.
Zarif made the description during the meeting with his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida here on Wednesday.
In the meeting, Zarif expressed hope that Japan will have active presence in other areas including the economic and banking relations.
For his part, the Japanese foreign minister stressed importance of proper implementation of the July 2015 deal between Iran and the major world powers.
Kishida said his country supports the JCPOA and will do due cooperation, as it has done before, in line with practical implementation of the deal.
Zarif arrived in Tokyo on Tuesday evening at the third leg of his three-nation Asian tour that started from India on December 3. He visited China on Monday.
