24- Kyrgyzstan is waiting for a visit of the President of Iran. The head of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev said today at the year-end conference.

The question concerned the development of Kyrgyz-Iranian relations.

"We have always supported Iran, including the accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). This is one of the oldest civilizations. The history of this country has thousands and thousands years. I am glad that we are improving relations with Iran," President said.

"Due to health problems, unfortunately, I could not receive the President of Iran in September. I am thankful that he showed understanding. We look forward to his visit. It will be directed at enhancing our bilateral cooperation," Almazbek Atambayev said.
