IRNA � Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh on Sunday expressed condolence to families of five victims of helicopter crash over the Caspian Sea.

He said in his condolence message that unfortunately, early morning Sunday a helicopter carrying a patient from Amir Kabir Platform to hospital crashed over the Caspian Sea. The patient and all four crew on board died.

The minister said that causes of air disaster are under investigation.

Helicopter MI 17 which picked up patient suffering from heart attack from Amir Kabir Platform at 4:30 early morning crashed over the Caspian waters minutes after takeoff and all people on board were killed.
