Press TV- Trade Promotion Organization of Iran has signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Trade Center as part of Tehran's efforts to expand business with other countries.
According to the Public Relations Department of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI), the document was inked on the sidelines of the 11th Trade Promotion Organization Network World Conference and Awards in Marrakech, Morocco, which was held on 24-25 November, 2016.
Over 200 policymakers, business leaders and representatives of trade and investment promotion organizations from across the world took part in the gathering.
Chairman of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Mojtaba Khosrotaj, and the Executive Director of the International Trade Center, Arancha Gonzlez, signed the MoU.

The agreement is aimed at expanding joint cooperation in diverse fields including boosting trade ties between TPOI and its foreign counterparts, creating new capacities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and launching joint market analysis.
Its forecasted that the expansion of Irans cooperation with the International Trade Center will play an effective role in promoting foreign trade via using successful experience of other countries in this regard, wrote the website of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.

The International Trade Center offers technical assistance to developing economies to promote their exports.
The Geneva-based agency is a subsidiary organization of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.
