FNA- A senior Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) official underlined that the US candidates' warnings about possible vote rigging in the upcoming presidential race shows deep mistrust among the political factions in the US.

"Rising allegations about fraud in the US election indicate that the political groups in that country distrust each other. Actually, the measures that the Americans have adopted in other countries and sowed discord in their societies have today entangled themselves," Advisor to the Supreme Leader's Representative at the IRGC Yadollah Javani said on Sunday.

"We are witnessing that any side in the US introduces himself/herself as the definite winner of the election beforehand and says that his/her defeat would only be the result of vote rigging," he added.

Noting that such claims will certainly affect their fans and campaigns, Javani said some have even warned of street protests if voter fraud is reported or their candidate fails.

His remarks came after Republican candidate Donald Trump, who has long suggested there is voter fraud in the United States, explicitly accused�Democrats�in Nevada in engaging in the practice on Saturday.

Speaking in a convention center hall in Reno,�Nevada, Trump claimed that the long lines in Hispanic neighborhoods on the last day of early voting in Las Vegas were the result of the machinations of �crazy broken Harry Reid and his political machine�, referring to the Senate minority leader, who hails from the state.

Trump claimed to a crowd: �It�s being reported certain key Democratic polling locations in Clark County were kept open hours and hours beyond closing time to bus and bring Democratic voters in.� He added, �folks, it�s a rigged system, it�s a rigged system� to loud boos, before insisting, �we�re going to beat it�.
