Shana � Director of the Planning and Development Department at National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NPC) Farnaz Alawi says $25 billion investment will be made in 25 new petrochemical projects in the Sixth Five-Year Development Plan (2016-21).

Alawi told Petrochemical Industry Educational Workshop on Wednesday.

She said the petroleum industry development plans envision diversified goals: The second and third such plans aimed addressing needs of Iranian industries and the fourth and the following plans aim infiltration into international markets, and winning the Asian and European markets.

She added that future plans pursue winning international markets and creating value chains.
