Tehran, Oct 26, IRNA � Finland President Sauli Niinisto and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday held talks on bilateral ties and the regional issues.


President Niinisto and Zarif reviewed ways to develop ties, especially economic and banking cooperation.

Regional issues, especially roots of current humanitarian crises were among other topics raised by the two officials.

President Sauli Niinisto arrived in Tehran on Tuesday on the head of politico-economic delegation.

President Niinisto was accorded formal welcome by President Hassan Rouhani at Sa'adabad cultural complex on Wednesday morning.

The two presidents held talks on bilateral, multilateral issues and expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
