TEHRAN (FNA)- Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro will arrive in Tehran on Saturday to discuss bilateral ties and regional development with senior Iranian officials.
President Maduro's visit to Tehran will take place at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani.
The Venezuelan president will meet other senior Iranian officials other than President Rouhani.
The Iranian and Venezuelan presidents will focus on energy market, specially the crude prices.
Earlier in October, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a telephone conversation with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro called on oil producing countries to enhance cooperation to help remedy the crude prices.
"Expert decisions should be adopted in order for oil prices to increase globally," President Rouhani said.
The Iranian president thanked Venezuela for its stances in the Algiers meeting of the oil producing countries to maintain Iran's quota and reach the level prior to sanctions, and said, "All should make efforts so that the expert committee will make decisions in the November session that would lead to the oil prices hike."
President Rouhani said Tehran welcomes boosting mutual cooperation with Caracas, and expressed the hoped that the executive organs of the two countries will concentrate all their efforts on speedy and full implementation of the agreements.
