Tehran, Oct 4, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani will embark on a visit to Malaysia and later on Friday to Thailand to attend the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) meeting after wrapping up his journey to Vietnam.
�President Rouhani will confer with senior Malaysian officials in Kuala Lumpur on bilateral ties, including in the fields of industrial and technological cooperation,� Deputy Head of Presidential Office for Communications and Information Dissemination Parviz Esmayeeli said on Tuesday.
Esmayeeli said that President Rouhani will meet Malaysian prime minister and the Asian country�s elite during his stay in Kuala Lumpur.
He went on to say that the president will also deliver a speech at the 2nd ACD Summit in Thailand and meet his counterparts from the Asian countries on the sidelines of the summit.
The Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an inter-governmental organization created on June 18, 2002 to promote Asian cooperation at a continental level and to help integrate separate regional organizations such as ASEAN, SAARC, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the EAEU.
