Bushehr ports export $7.9b products in 6 months

Bushehr, Oct 4, IRNA Managing Director of Bushehr customs Behnam Noroozi said that $7,914m worth of products has been exported during the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 20,2016).


Noroozi told IRNA on Monday that including gas condensates, the amount of exports from 15 customs of Bushehr province was 20,675,000 tons.

He reiterated that exports from Bushehr customs had 51% growth in weight and 9% rise in value in 6 months compared to the same period previous year.

He said that excluding gas condensates, 11,078,000 tons products worth $4,157 million were exported which showed 29% rise in weight but no change in value.

Noroozi added that gas condensates and petrochemical products account for most of the most exports.

He noted that products were exported to Vietnam, China, Emirates, South Korea, India, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Pakistan and Italy.

Noroozi reiterated that products consisted of mineral fertilizers, stone, fish, shrimp and petrochemical products.
