Iran sky completely safe for international flights: Minister

Tehran, Sept 18, IRNA Minister of Roads and Urban Development said that Iran's air space is completely safe and all international flights can use it with no limits based on international regulations.

'All international flights can use Iran's air space with no limits. Respecting all international regulations, Iran's air space is thoroughly safe and open to every country,' Abbas Akhoundi made the remarks at the CAPA Iran Aviation Finance Summit in Tehran.

The two-day event began in the Iranian capital earlier Sunday morning with the participation of some 150 representatives from 20 world countries.

Akhoundi described the aviation industry as a global ground for the economic exchange, adding it would be effective in national development and growth in the global economy.

Presently, he added, there is no hindrance to the way of development of the aviation industry in Iran.

According to the CAPA (Center for Asia Pacific Aviation) Iran Aviation Finance Summit website, the summit as brought together airlines, aircraft manufacturers, banks, export credit agencies, regulators and law firms, along with airport operators and investors, and infrastructure developers for panel discussions and networking sessions to identify financing solutions for transactions related to aircraft acquisition, leasing and infrastructure development.
