Supreme Leader: Clerics should remove ambiguities, confront secularisation
Tehran, Sept 6, IRNA Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Tuesday advised the clerics to remove ambiguities on religious teachings and fight attempts to secularise society and also deal with those seeking to weaken chastity.

The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with a group of clerics of theological schools on Tuesday.

Clerics and theological schools should properly identify cyber net in order to seize the opportunity to promote Islamic teachings in the society, Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Seizing the opportunities and being duty bound should be regarded as two most important elements in preaching Islamic teachings otherwise it will backfire and leave no positive impact, the Supreme Leader said.

Recognition of real needs in the society should lead to insight; the Supreme Leader said, adding that insight tells us the real needs of the youths and their aspirations.

The enemies, through spreading religious ambiguities and anti-moral and anti-chastity products, seek to deviate the youths and pious people and this is being done in the cyber world, the Supreme Leader said.

Theological schools and religious figures should make themselves well prepared to thwart conspiracies masterminded by the enemies, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
