TEHRAN, Aug 26 (Shana) � Deputy Minister of Petroleum Marzieh Shahdaie says foreign companies have welcomed investment in Iran.

Shahdaie said on Friday that using all opportunities to attract foreign investment, while using domestic potential, will be on the agenda of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC).
Shahdaie said, �We will encourage foreign investors to be present and invest in Iran so as to use our petrochemical potential and invest in the industry.�

She noted that after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) many companies have announced readiness for presence in Iran.
In signing deals with foreigners, there will be efforts to include an Iranian partner, she added.
