Tehran, Aug 14, IRNA � Iranian foreign minister in separate messages congratulated the anniversary of Lebanon's victory in the 33-day war to the country�s foreign minister and secretary general of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement.

Zarif felicitated the 10th anniversary of the victory of the Lebanese nation in the 2006 war against the Zionist Army in messages to his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Bassil and Hezbollah�s Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

This victory is the result of sacrifices by the resistance fighters who belong to various religious and ethnic groups in Lebanon and in the meantime it is as well the result of unity among freedom seeking political parties of this nation, Iranian foreign minister said in the letter to his counterpart.

In the meantime, Zarif in a message to Nasrallah said that the victory of Lebanese people over the Zionist regime Army and its allies reminds the sacrifices made by the resistance fighter and the hidden and apparent aids by God.

Muslim nations and the freedom seeking people of the world are proud of victory of the Lebanese people in the 2006 war, the foreign minister noted.
