RIO DE JANIERO, Aug. 11 (MNA) � Iran�s Najmeh Khedmati has advanced to final round of women's 50m rifle 3 positions in Rio.

On Thursday, Khedmati succeeded in standing in 6th place in a pool of 37 shooters from 27 countries with 583 points, thus securing a place in final round which will be held within half an hour.

Iran�s second representatives Mahlegha Jambozorg stood in no better place than 27th with 574 points.�Iran�s shooting squad has participated in Rio Olympics with 5 shooters which also included Elaheh Ahmadi, famously given the epithet of the �only mother of Iran�s delegation.� She is the most successful of all Iran�s shooters, since in London Olympics 2012, she had stood in 6th place in final round.
