Damascus, Aug 4, IRNA � We are sure that Syria and the Axis of Resistance will finally emerge victorious, said Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a senior Member of Iran's parliament, on Thursday.


The head of Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, made the remarks on Thursday in a meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem.

Iran's government and its people will continue their support for the Syrian government and people, Boroujerdi said.

It is going to be an all-out support and it will continue until the final victory in the fight against the Takfiri terrorists and restoration of security and stability to the crisis-hit country.

On his part, the Syrian foreign minister said that resistance is the only option available to the Syrian government and people and that the signs of victory have become evident.

The two officials also discussed bilateral relations as well as using further potential for joint cooperation between Iran and Syria.

Boroujerdi earlier in the day was received by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
