TEHRAN, Aug. 01 (MNA) Iranian feature movie 'The Mobarak' directed by Mohammad Reza Emami will go on screen at Montreal World Film Festival in Canada.
The Mobarak which can be considered as one of the most different movies in Iran due to the excessive use of animation scenes, has pictured Elnaz Shakerdoost and many other famous actors and actresses along with Shahnameh characters.
The story is about an old man whose job is narrating stories using dolls that have been made in the adaptation of the Shahnameh characters. This old man has lived a big part of his life in these hero worlds and is concerned about a day when the black characters of Shahnameh send the world to endless darkness and misery. One day these dolls become alive and try to help the old man to ease his worries and concerns.
The crew of the film include production manager Mehdi Madadkar, shooting director Alireza Barazandeh, scene and dress designer Asghar Nezhad Imani, makeup designer Alireza Khorshid, script writer Behrouz Vaseghi, script consultant Seyed Jalalaldin Dori, scene secretary Pantea Hoseini, animation character designer Hamed Kamali, dolls maker Kamran Khalaj, dress designer for the dolls Sahar Abollahi, audio Hamid Eslami, photographer Arash Sadeghi, procurement Ali Akbar Ikani and communication manager Mohsen Rakhsh Khorshid.
The Montreal World Film Festival (MWFF) is the only competitive Film Festival in North America recognized by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers Associations).
