Russia's Roscosmos space corporation has a very good chance of getting the orders and the contracts for Iranian projects, according to Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russia's Roscosmos space corporation might receive an order forthe supply ofcomponents forIranian satellites, Russian Minister ofCommunications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov said Thursday.
Earlier inthe day, Nikiforov and Iranian Minister ofCommunication Mahmoud Vaezi met inMoscow and discussed a number ofissues.
"Iran is very interested inthe experience ofthe Russian space program, including inthe sphere ofcommunication. Indeed, my colleague [Vaezi] has repeatedly talked aboutthe interest inthe use ofRussian satellite technology. This is being discussed withthe Roskosmos corporation. The Russian satellites constructors have a very good chance ofgetting the orders and the contracts forIranian projects. I know that the negotiations are onthe way. It necessary towait forthe results," Nikiforov told Rossiya 24 news channel.
Vaezi is currently onan official visit inthe Russia capital, where he is also expected tomeet Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov aswell asRussian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
