Tehran, July 28, IRNR Head of Civil Aviation Organization of Iran Ali Abedzadeh has approved of increasing flights to Tajikistan. Ali Abedzadeh made the remark here after a meeting with Tajik Ambassador to Tehran Nematullo Emomzoda. Abedzadeh also hoped the two countries would widen cooperation in the area of transportation. For his part, the Tajik ambassador called for promotion of level of bilateral relations, particularly in the area of transportation. Located in Central Asia, Tajikistan enjoys long-lasting historical and economic ties with Iran. People of both countries are Persian-speaking. At present, there are regular flights between Tehran and Dushanbe. By IRNA
