Kermanshah, July 18, IRNA - President Hassan Rouhani said that lifting the anti-Iranian sanctions was a major step taken by his government towards facilitation of investment across the country.


He made the remarks in a press conference at the end of his visit to the western province of Kermanshah on Sunday evening.

Economic boom and enhance of employment are government�s top priorities, President Rouhani added.

Referring to Kermanshah transit, tourism, industrial and agricultural potentials, the president called for absorbing foreign and domestic investment for development of the region.


President Rouhani hailed proper co-existence of various ethnic groups and followers of different religions in Iran, particularly in Kermanshah.

He also said that implementation of railway running west from Tehran through Hamadan, Malayer and Kermanshah to the Iraqi border town of Khosravi is on the agenda of his government.
