Tehran, July 11, IRNA - Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif, heading a delegation comprising directors and the legal and political experts, left for Astana to take part in the foreign ministers meeting of the Caspian Sea states scheduled to be held on Wednesday.
Foreign ministers of the Caspian states will review the most important issues about the Caspian Sea, including draft convention of legal regime of the Caspian Sea and drawing up the agenda and drafting necessary documents for the upcoming Summit of Leaders of the Caspian Sea.
A special working group from Iran arrived in Astana two days ago to attend the preliminary expert meeting prior to the foreign ministers convene.
Foreign ministers of Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Russia will take part in the meeting for the sixth time in Astana.
