TEHRAN, July 11 (Shana) � Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh on Sunday thanked the media for covering the fire at the 2001C storage tank and the paraxylene tower of Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Plant last weekend.

In a letter to the Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Ali Asgari on Sunday, Zanganeh said, "Regarding extensive, speedy and careful news coverage to the Bou Ali Sina Petrochemical Plant 's fire story in Eid al-Fitr (Feast of Fast Breaking) by different news sections of the national media, I hereby extend my appreciation for the unbiased and careful dissemination of news."

He said that undoubtedly, careful reporting of the national media will prevent spread of rumors and abuse of the enemies, once again proved the potential and prudence as well as brave efforts of the courageous firefighters to the Iranian nation.
