Qom seminary lecturers: Bahrain perpetrates maximum despotism
Qom, June 21, IRNA Society of Qom Seminary lecturers issued a statement on Tuesday to condemn violation of citizenship rights of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmed Qassim, saying that Bahrain government perpetrated maximum despotism.

They protested to the Bahraini government over arrest of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmed Qassim, the Bahraini Shia Muslim spiritual leader saying that the Saudi leaders have insinuated the Bahraini regime to perpetrate maximum despotism and suppression of people in Bahrain.

The Muslim World is suffering from various plots masterminded by the arrogant powers and Zionists and the puppet and reactionary regimes in the region following the lead of the global arrogance, the statement said.

Crimes and bloodshed of savage Daesh terrorist group and child killer Saudi regime in Yemen indicated magnitude of oppression by the soldiers of global arrogance against Islam and the Muslim World, it said.

The missing point in these atrocities and bloodshed is the oppressed nature of Bahraini people vis-a-vis the global arrogance, it said.

Muslim people in Bahrain are now under the rein of al-Khalife despotic regime that prevents the people to attend in mosques for Friday prayers, the statement said.

Ulema and revolutionary people in Bahrain are subject to arrest warrants, the country's institutes and NGO's are being closed without any solid reasons but the silence of international organizations put seal of approval on tyranny and carnage of rulers of Bahrain, the statement read.

The statement also condemned the illogical move of Bahraini regime in suppressing Ulema and revolutionary people and voiced support to the Muslim and revolutionary people in that country.

It warned the rulers of Bahrain and as-Saud that the end of game in the region will be the ultimate annihilation of the oppressive regimes and that the revolutionary Islam and Islamic resistance will harbinger dignity and authority of Islam in the entire region.

Isa Ahmed Qassim has been stripped of his Bahraini citizenship on Monday.

The latest move by the Bahrain regime against the countrys main opposition figures came as the al-Khalifah regime is mounting pressure on the opposition.

Opposition members feel the government is willing to accelerate crackdown on dissidents because it believes it will only face a minimal censure by the statements of the US and the European states expressing concern about.
