Former Head of IDFMilitary Intelligence, Amos Yadlin, spoke at the annual AIPAC conference in Washington on Monday,combiningunderstanding with urgency withregards to the Iraniannuclearissue and thedifferencesbetween the U.S. and Israeli approachto the prevalent threat.

He relayed to the crowd the maindifferencesbetween Israel and the United States vis a vis how to deal with Iran, saying the discrepancies couldbe summed up by "three T's."
"A different trauma, a different trigger, and maybe not enough trust, said Yadlin.
We, the Israelis, come with the Holocaust. We are six million Israeli Jewslisteningto Ahmadinejad calling for Israels destruction. You come with a different trauma, Iraq. You dont want another war, understandably, he said.
This is not a war, this is a one-night operation, and we should speak about it," he added."We should be much closer on how to prevent Iran from beingnuclear."
