Norway has a positive view to interaction with Iran: Official

Tehran, June 15, The Iran Project - Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Norway says after the JCPOA implementation Norway has a positive view to interaction with Iran.

Speaking to a reporter on Wednesday, Irans ambassador in Norway, Majid Nili said after the JCPOA implementation, Norway has a positive view to broaden its relation with Iran, stressing that the Islamic Republic doesnt have blocked money in this country.

During sanctions era, Iran-Norway relations were interrupted but now the two countries are seeking to improve it, said Majid Nili adding Iran and Norway companies have begun their cooperation.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Nili said that oil and gas, health and fisheries are the most important areas of cooperation between the two countries.

He also referred to the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Oslo, and stated that the visit was in response to the October visit by the FMs Norwegian counterpart Brge Brende. to Tehran.

He said bilateral cooperation, regional consultations and attending the Oslo Forum were the most important purposes of Iran FMs visit to the European country, emphasizing that the worlds high-ranking officials get together in Oslo each year to find a way for solving the worlds problems and Iran has continuously attended the forum since the last three years.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, the Iranian foreign minister arrived in Norway on Monday to hold talks with the European countrys officials and participate in the Oslo Forum.

The Oslo Forum is widely regarded as the leading international network of armed conflict mediation practitioners. It regularly convenes senior conflict mediators, high level decision makers, key peace process actors, analysts and experts from a variety of institutional backgrounds in a series of informal and discreet retreats.
