Tehran, June 14, IRNA - Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari on Tuesday condemned a terrorist blast in Lebanon.


Jaberi Ansari said the Sunday terrorist explosion in Beirut, Lebanon aimed at disturbing the stability of this country.

Emphasizing Iran's support of the stability and security in Lebanon and Lebanese government's efforts in fighting terrorism, Ansari called for all Lebanese parties, political and religious groups to foil terrorist activities to reinforce stability and security.

A bomb attack targeting a bank in west of Beirut on Sunday, jolted the capital of Lebanon.

Over 40 people were killed and dozens of others wounded in the explosion.
