TEHRAN (Tasnim) National security officials from Iran, Russia and Afghanistan held a trilateral meeting in Kabul on Thursday to coordinate action against terrorism and narcotics, Afghan sources reported.
According to Tasnim dispatches, the meeting was held at the level of deputy heads of national security bodies of the three nations at the Arg, the Afghan presidential palace in Kabul.
Some Afghan sources have also reported that participants are going to hold separate bilateral meetings as well.
Last week, Deputy Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Reza Seifollahi and Afghan National Security Adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar had a get-together in Chechnya's capital of Grozny, on the sidelines of the seventh international conference of high representative supervising security matters.
