Iran-Pakistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in a ceremony attended by Pakistan Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan and Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran Majid Sadeghi on Monday.
Saying Islamabad is seeking to develop trade relations with neighboring and regional countries, including Iran, Khurram Dastgir Khan stressed that establishment of chamber would further enhance trade relations between two countries.
Pakistan Commerce Minister also said that Iran-Pakistan's good relations should be transformed into economic partnership.

Iran, Pakistan have formed a joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a ceremony attended by Pakistan Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan and Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran Majid Sadeghi on Monday.[/caption]Referring to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's recent visit to Pakistan where he emphasized on enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties between the two countries, Majid Sadeghi said the neighboring Balochistan Province is particularly important in the field of trade and economic cooperation.
Back in March, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation including 60 Iranian businessmen, paid a two-day state visit to Pakistan.
In his trip which was aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties with the neighboring country, the two countries officials signed six documents for cooperation in different fields of trade and commerce, insurance, culture, higher education, health and medicine.
