TEHRAN, May 23 (Shana) The National Iranian Tanker Company will re-start carrying oil to Europe soon in the near future, Ramin Rajaei an official affiliated to the NITC in Bandarabbas Port said.
Speaking to reporters, he noted that even during the sanctions, Iranian tankers preserved their international standards and remained up-to-date.
After the removal of Irans sanctions, NITC sent its first oil cargo to the African destination along with the Asian customers and it is expected that the first Iranian oil cargo for the European destinations start its trip soon in the near future, the official added.
He underlined that NITC can re-take its share of oil and its products global transportation.
Referring to the pirate attacks against Iranian oil tanker, Rajaei said that the attacks have decreased and the pirates did not succeed to seize any Iranian oil tanker.
