Tehran, May 14, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that clerics are serving as guides for public opinion as they won trust of people and they listen to them patiently.


The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with theologians and instructors of the theology school of Tehran.

A cleric should be devoted, because they shoulder grave responsibility to guide the nation, said Ayatollah Khamenei.

The meeting was held at Imam Khomeini Mosque, downtown Tehran.
