Tabriz, May 11, IRNA � Director of the 8th region of Iran's gas transition operation Yadollah Baybordi said on Wednesday that this region has pumped 25 billion cubic meters of natural gas last year, 8.566 billion cubic meters of which has been sent to Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia.


Of the mentioned exported gas, over 8 billion cubic meters has been pumped to Turkey, with 366 million cubic meters exported to Armenia and 257 million cubic meters exported to Azerbaijan, the official said.

Referring to naming this year as 'the year of Economy of Resistance, Plan and Implementation' by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, he expressed hope that the 8th region of Iran's gas transition operation could make further progress this year.
