Russian Gazprom officials to discuss cooperation with Tehran
MOSCOW (Sputnik) A delegation ofRussias Gazprom energy giant is due toarrive inTehran soon fortalks ongas cooperation, Director ofInternational Affairs atNational Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Azizollah Ramezan said Saturday.
"In the coming days, four working groups ofGazprom managers and specialists will travel toIran and will discuss greater cooperation withthe NIGC representatives," Shana news agency quoted Ramazani assaying.
In March, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Russian oil companies, including Gazprom, have expressed interest inworking inIran.
In April, Russia invited Iran topresent its investment contracts tooil and gas companies atthe upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
