Kerman, May 3, IRNA An agreement was signed between two universities in this central Iran province and an Omani investment company on educational cooperation.
The agreement was inked between Islamic Azad University and Bahonar University of Iran and an Omani investment company on tourism and hotel management.
The Omani company is to sponsor two courses in the Iranian universities during which it will offer latest methods on hospitality management.
During the ceremony to sign the agreement, the provincial Governor General Alireza Razm Hosseini said that the province was suffering from certain shortcomings in hotel industry despite its remarkable number of tourist attractions.
He believed the good number of old and historical buildings in the province will make it possible for the officials to use them as hotels and tourist accommodation centers.
The official noted that in the next ten days a great number of foreign guests from all over the world are to arrive in Kerman province, stressing that for the time being many runners are present in Shahdad Desert.
