Madrid, April 17, IRNA- Iranian stall in International Kermes Bazaar was visited by Felipe VI of Spain's mother, Queen Sofia.
Kermes Bazaar which is organized by the spouses of diplomats currently accredited to Spain is visited by thousands of visitors due to its variety and attraction.
Sofia serves as honorary president of the Association of International Diplomats in Spain (AIDE).
On Saturday, 50 countries mostly from Asia, Middle East and Africa participated in this event and exhibited their local foods, artifacts, culture and art.
The event aims at acquainting visitors with cultural diversity, coexistence and mutual understanding.
Kermes' income is spent for different affairs such as charity, educational, accommodation and financial assistance to poor people.
This years' income will be allocated to Alzheimer Center Reina Sofia Foundation.
Visiting Iranian cultural products especially artifacts, Queen Sofia praised Iranian art.
She also met with Iranian ambassador to Spain, Mohammad Hassan Fadai Fard and his wife expressing her interest in being informed about Iran.
