TEHRAN, Apr. 13 (MNA) An Australian delegation from the University of Melbourne met with Prof. Nili Ahamadabadi, the President of University of Tehran, on Tuesday.
The Australian academic delegation asked for signing agreements and research MoUs with University of Tehran to cooperate on professor and student exchange between the two universities, holding joint academic courses and professional training.
Mahmoud Nili Ahamadabadi noted the Australian university is willing to launch joint academic programs as one of the lasting methods for scientific ties; The two centers should take advantage of mutual capacities to improve academic cooperation.
Vice President of University of Melbourne Thomas Cuan, for his part, said Melbourne has launched activities since a decade ago, including cooperation with the academic centers around the world.
He also pointed to the University's strategic plans, describing its focus as health and well-being, flexibility and understanding the place origins and purposes.
