Iran, India trade hits $15 bln

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Masoud Khansari said Iran-India trade volume totals $15 billion, reiterating that the two sides hold much potential for the further expansion of bilateral economic cooperation.

India given its potentials is one of the newly-emerging powers. All of these factors causes increase in Iran-India ties in all fields, he said.

He noted that Iran and India should provide the grounds for deepening cooperation in post-JCPOA era, and that Iran focuses on countries which stood by it in hard times.

Khansari said that the two countries can also work in technology and technical infrastructure as well.
