Tehran, April 5, IRNA Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia said on Tuesday that Iran is suffering from the state-run economy and dependence on oil revenues and that the Economy of Resistance must get rid of the two stumbling blocks.
He told a group of investors that the guidelines of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei about 'Economy of Resistance: Plan and Implementation', called for sustainable economic growth.
The economy of resistance should be capable enough to create jobs for the youth and provide necessary opportunities for promotion of public life standard and welfare and raise national income.
The inward looking growth aims to use all the existing opportunities of Iranian economy, said the minister, adding that it is at the same time outward looking: using all the capacity of the international economy for the sake of investment and knowledge-based businesses.
