TEHRAN, April 04 (Shana) - Iran is determined to recapture its market share and will never cease to pursue its rights in this regard, said a member of oil and gas committee of the Iranian parliament.
Reacting to recent remarks by Saudi officials about Iran's crude oil production ceiling, Ali Iranpour told Shana that Saudi Arabia tries to challenge Iran by targeting its interests, and freezing oil production is one of the areas that the country tries to attack Iranian interests.
"There is a precondition for Iran to join the production freeze plan, and that is restoration of its share in the global oil market and reaching pre-sanctions levels," said the MP.
He further said: "No country can prevent Iran from restoring its oil rights and Tehran will never cease to persist in the strategy of regaining its oil market share."
Iran's market share needs to grow proportionate to its capacity and rights, he added.
