TEHRAN (Tasnim) � Iran�s men sitting volleyball team won the title of the World Paravolley Intercontinental Cup on Wednesday.

The Iranian team defeated Brazil in three successive sets (25-20, 25-13, 25-14) in the gold medal match.

Davoud Alipourian was named the tournament�s Most Valuable Player.

This year's Intercontinental Paravolley Cup was held from March 17 to 23 in Inji, Hangzhou City, China.

Iran�s women sitting volleyball team had finished fifth on Tuesday.

USA women sitting volleyball team won the title after beating host-nation China 3-1 (25-22, 12-25, 25-20, 28-26) in the final match.
