Religious seniors' understanding needed to resist extremism

Belgrade, March 16, IRNA- Deputy Archbishop of Romanian Orthodox Church in a meeting with the presence of the Head of Imam Reza Seminary said that experience shows that religious seniors were able to resist against extremism by understanding and cooperation.


On cooperation between Iran and Romania religious centers, Romanian Deputy Archbishop said that holding joint meetings between two countries is regarded as milestone in Islam and Christian ties.

Regarding the expansion of extremism and violence all around the world, he said that religious leaders are being faced with a test.

Referring to extremist trends in the world Head of Imam Reza Semnari, Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini Neishaboori reminded religious seniors' talks as an important step to understand and cooperate saying that no peace would exist among nations in the absence of cooperation and peace among religions.
