TEHRAN, March 09 (Shana) -- A senior Iranian energy official said plans are under way to supply 80% of Iranian cities with Euro-4 petrol by 2020.
Managing-Director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIOPDC) Abbas Kazemi told a CRS conference here in Tehran on Tuesday that NIOPDC has also planned to provide high quality fuel (Euro-5 gasoline) for all Iranian cities by the end of the 6th five-year development plan (2016-2021).
NIOPDC supplied the fuel in 8 megacities in Iran and 7 other cities are planned to receive the fuel in the near future.
Kazemi further said a major refinery project in Isfahan is being carried out which will need $2bn in investments for its completion within the next 4 year.
