TEHRAN, March 2 (Shana) � The administrator in charge of development of the South Pars gas field�s phases 20 and 21 said that by completion of the second sweetening train of the phases� refinery, its first unit will be inaugurated by yearend (March 20).

Alireza Ebadi told Shana that because the first sweetening train of the phases� refinery is ready, there are efforts underway to receive the sour gas from phases 6-8 in order to launch the refinery�s first train.

�It is expected that the second sweetening unit of the refinery will also be completed in the next two weeks,� he added.

�Considering that the off-shore section is not ready yet and will be completed next year, if the weather conditions are suitable, the refinery will be launched being fed with the gas from phases 6 to 8,� Ebadi told Shana in January.
