Tehran, Feb 29, IRNA � Romanian Foreign Minister Lazar Comanescu is scheduled to arrive in Tehran later Monday to exchange views on diplomatic relations and cooperation on issues of mutual interests, Romanian National News Agency 'AGERPRES' said on Monday.


Comanescu is due to meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, President Hassan Rouhani as well as Minister of Petroleum and Minister of Finance and Economy.

A high ranking delegation including senior officials from Romanian Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economy, directors from Chamber of Commerce as well as representatives from the business sector are accompanying Romanian foreign minister.

Comanescu is to attend opening Iran-Romania Economic Commission at Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and will discuss the latest developments in the region with Mr. Zarif.
