Tehran, February 15,The Iran Project The head of the Touring and Tourism Investment Company (ITTIC) says Iran is to build first green hotel in the city of Isfahan by spring 2016.
Addressing a press conference to briefthe tourism and hoteling plans of the company on Monday, Mohsen Gharid, the head of the Iran Touring and Tourism Investment Company (ITTIC) said that Iran's first green hotel is to be built with observing all global standards and regulations in the city of Isfahan by spring 2016 (the early of new Persian year of 1395).
Referring to the decision to import the environmentally friendly cars (also known as green cars) to be used for this hotel, he stated that foreign investors' presence to build five-star hotels in post-sanction era would create more room for competition within Iran tourism industry.
Thetourism senior official also went on to say that country's private sector, three branches and the Joint Staff of Army need to negotiate to reach an agreement over achieving the goal of 20 million annual tourists by next decade.
